Cycle tour of food growing sites: Sun 30th March

As part of the Cultivate Urban Food Growing Festival, Transition Walthamstow & the Walthamstow Family Bike Club are running a special ride this Sunday 30th March 2014 to explore food growing sites between Walthamstow & Chingford.

So we invite you to join us outside the Ancient House by 1pm for fresh air, exercise, and a sociable meander along back streets through the borough, ending up at

Organiclea‘s Hawkwood site where you’ll have the opportunity to mark spring by sowing some seeds. We’ll have a refuelling stop at a cafe on the way back, returning to Walthamstow Village by 6pm.

At around 18 miles the full route is slightly longer than our usual distance… but for anyone struggling a bit, we can offer an opt out of the last site (at Hawkwood) with some of us going straight to the cafe.
