Transition Walthamstow will be exploring how we can live for less as part of our new low
cost/low impact living project, so join us at 7pm at the Hornbeam Centre for snacks, films, and lively discussion. There will also be a practical skillshare on growing salad in a pot; the first 15 people will get a free pot, seeds & compost to grow their own spicy salad leaves. More information about the meeting here.
At our last session we had a lot of fun with a wonderfully creative brainstorm on how we can live for less. We also decided we would organise public screenings for the following 3 films: Power of the community, In Transition 2.0, and Farm for the future. See our Report from meeting on 27th April 2012 .
The newly formed Steering Group has already met twice, and its focus has been on public film screening organisation & promotion, progressing publicity flyers, and taking our ‘Living for less’ plans forward. See here for more information on the Steering Group and what’s its been up to.
