Transition Walthamstow’s second meeting took place on Friday, where a highly energised group of local residents brainstormed to produce a large list of local carbon-busting projects which are already flourishing in the borough, updated their vision of Walthamstow in 2026 with another 40 or so ideas, started to focus on what the group’s priorities should be, and potential projects that they could run.
It was decided that future meetings should be held on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Friday of each month (so the next one will be on Fri 18th Nov), and the development of some ground rules was started, including that we’d start on time (at 7pm), and run for a maximum of 2 hours (until 9pm).
